My favorite place

My favorite place is Milan. The reason why I really like this city is that I am the fan of AC Milan soccer team since I was only 10 years old. I went to Italy for a week when I was 16 years old and also, I stayed a t Milan for 5 days. Although I did not really care about fashion, I still had deeply impression about this "fashion city". I do not have any chance to go to Paris, but from Milan I can know how fashion the Paris is. What's more, the food in italy is really tasty. However, even if you can eat cheese, I think you'd better not choose any food that has cheese because cheese in these food is very alwful.

The best thing that I did with my friends

When I was in high school, my best friend who is good at playing violin. Actually, many of my friends can play musical instruments. Thus, he decided to make our won band. It is really nice. I used to play saxophone and my girl friend was really good at playing piano. Our band had 6 members. My best friend thought that it will be a jazz music band but I did not like jazz music. They think jazz music can make them excite but I always think it is too noisy. Anyway, I believed that it was the best thing that we did in high school.

My hobby

I really like to read fictions on my free time. Actually, I like to read them and listen to some classical music the same time. Well,my favorite book is Gone with the Wind. A famous movie was made rely on this book. However, I prepare to read than watch movies. My favorite writter is Jane Austine. Pride and Prejudice is the most famous of her six published books, but I do really like another famous book named sense and sensbilty. Her books always can show us thst what is the real love and what is the good way to treat our affection. I also like the books that were written by Charles Dickens. However, his books are really difficult to understand. A Tale of Two Cities, for example, which is one of his magnum opus, is really difficult for me to understand.
When I am reading, I would like to listen to some classical muisc because it can make me focus on the books because it can creat a nice enviroment for reading. The favorite music is nocturne played by Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin. It is really nice. These is a list that some other famous classical muisc that I always listen to. The Well-Tempered Clavier, The Art of Fugue, brandenburg Concertos, Sonata No.5 in F Major,Op.24-Allegro, Missa brevis, Te Deum.
Sometimes, if I felt sad, these classical could make me peacful.

My major

Since I was a little boy, I have been being interested in biology. My father, who is a famous biologist in China, used to tell me that biology is the science that devote to life studying. When I was nine years old, I was luky to be allowed to go to my father's laboratory and this is the first time I saw the real biotic experiment. It gave me the deeply impression. Thus, I believe that my father is the person who has the great influence on me.

My life in Purdue

I am Yang Yang, from Beijing which is the capital of China. Now, my life has totally changed when I came to Purdue. That is, I had to do everything by meself. When I was in China, I did not need to do anything instead of studyng hard. For example, I did not need to cook because my grandmother will do it for me; also, I did not need to wash my clothes, but now I have to do these house work. It is hard to say I love these changes or fell comfortable but I still think I have to appreciate these changes for teaching me how to take care of myself. I appreciate these changes because I start to know how to deal with the problems from life individually. Anyway, I still miss the life in China.
What's more, I used to lack self-control. That is, I always cannot help playing games. However, in China, my mother would supervise me and force me to do my homework. Presently. I should do my best to supervise myself.
Although the life here is pretty difficlut and uncomfortable, I think it is good to train me to make an individual life.
